Q&A

Q: You recently dropped your Momentum EP on Altersoul Music. What was the inspiration behind that project, and how did you shape its sound?

A: “First of all, I’d like to thank the vocalist Peter for his amazing voice on the EP. His vocals really brought the whole sound to life and added a special character to it. When I was working on Momentum, I wanted to reflect my evolving sound — make it sharper and more intense compared to my previous releases. You can especially feel that energy in Charms, which is more focused on the club space.
Overall, the EP represents a moment of transition for me — I’m exploring new textures and moods while still keeping the emotional depth that drives my music.”

Q: Earlier this year you collaborated with Ten Walls on the track Save Me. How did that collaboration come about, and what was it like working with such a legend?

A: “It actually started very naturally. I initially reached out to Ten Walls just to share one of my tracks, hoping it could maybe find a home on his label, Runemark. I honestly didn’t expect anything beyond that — but he connected with the idea so much that he decided to join in himself.
Working with him was truly inspiring. Ten Walls has always been one of the artists who shaped my taste and approach to music, so seeing him add his touch to something I created felt surreal. I’m really happy with how this collaboration turned out.”

Q: Your track Sana, featuring vocalist Nes Mburu, also came out on AlterSoul Music. What’s the story behind it?

A: “The story with Nes Mburu actually started when I heard his track Gathoni. I was really impressed by his voice — it had this emotional and organic tone that instantly caught my attention. So I decided to reach out to him on Instagram and asked if he’d like to collaborate on a few ideas I was working on at the time. He connected with the music right away and recorded vocals for what later became Sana and Nawe.
The word ‘Sana’ means ‘very much’ in Swahili. We didn’t really have a set theme for the song, but Nes felt those words matched the emotion of the track perfectly. Nes is an absolute professional — his voice brings so much emotion and a unique vibe to the music.”

Q: Silvio Luz’s remix of Sana went viral, appearing in DJ sets with millions of YouTube views and over 116,000 streams on Spotify. How did that feel?

A: “The success of Sana was completely unexpected for me. I’m really grateful to Altersoul and Achex for their huge contribution to making it happen. It was actually my first release with Altersoul. I remember reaching out with the idea that Sana could be a good fit for the label’s sound. Achex replied with a counter idea — to release the track along with a couple of remixes by himself and Silvio Luz. Both versions really impressed me, and I truly admire what both Achex and Silvio are doing creatively.
I honestly didn’t expect Silvio Luz’s remix to blow up the way it did, but seeing it connect with so many people around the world was an incredible feeling.”

Q: What’s next for you? Any upcoming releases or gigs?

A: “I’ve got a few exciting things coming up! On November 28th, I’ll be releasing my new single On My Way on Runemark, and I honestly can’t wait to share it with everyone.
In terms of gigs — I’ll be playing at Anna Fest on October 24th at Gallery 1986 in Vilnius, sharing the stage with Avangart Tabldot, Justy, and Sundu. Then on October 25th, I’ll be at Brandon Café in Amsterdam for an ADE side event, and later this year — on December 25th — I’ll be performing in Klaipėda at Renginių kombinatas alongside Ten Walls, Goya, and Driule XL.
And that’s not all — I’ve got a few surprises lined up for 2026, so stay tuned!”
